What to Include in a Flange Inquiry
A flange quotation becomes clearer when the type, mating dimensions, service requirements and document scope are separated.
Define the flange form
State whether the requirement is for a weld neck, slip-on, blind or another flange form. Include facing and bore details where relevant.
Share dimensional references
Provide nominal size, pressure class or rating system, thickness-related requirements and the drawing or standard edition used by the project.
Separate material from documentation
State the requested material and separately list inspection reports, certificates, marking, traceability and third-party requirements.
Complete the commercial brief
Include quantity, packing, destination, timing target and any required approval sequence.
